When travelling by taxi to the airport from Makkah be specific which Terminal you want to go.
There are two main Terminals - Terminal 1 ( formerly South ) and North terminal. Terminal 1 is the
main terminal
I had the experience of being taken to the wrong Terminal and ended up paying extra as the other terminal was quite a distance - between the two - 19 kilometers - and I felt sorry for the driver
