When travelling by taxi to the airport from Makkah be specific which Terminal you want to go. Also inform the driver the Airline name to avoid any confusion.
There are two main Terminals - Terminal 1 ( formerly South ) and North terminal.
Terminal 1 is the main terminal
I had the experience of being taken to the wrong Terminal and ended up paying extra as the other terminal was quite a distance - between the two - 19 kilometers - and I felt sorry for the driver
