About us
MakkahMadinahGuide.com exists because visitors to the Holy Cities kept asking each other the same questions — and the best answers usually came from someone who'd just been there, not from an official brochure.
What this is
This is a community-contributed guide for English-speaking visitors to Makkah and Madinah. Every tip, recommendation, and note on this site was submitted by a real visitor sharing something they found useful — where to eat, how to get somewhere, what to expect at a particular gate or time of day, or a small piece of practical advice they wish someone had told them beforehand.
How it works
Anyone can submit a short comment about their experience in Makkah or Madinah, organized by city and topic. Every submission is reviewed before it goes live, and approved posts appear publicly a short time after approval. We keep submissions short and topic-focused so the site stays easy to browse and genuinely useful, rather than becoming a general discussion forum.
Who runs it
MakkahMadinahGuide.com is run by a small team of volunteers who care about making practical, first-hand information easier to find for visitors to the Holy Cities. We're not affiliated with any government body, mosque administration, or tour operator — this is an independent community project.
