The policy is a Council of Health Insurance- CHI -approved pilgrim plan designed for visitors performing Umrah. It runs for up to 90 days from entry and covers emergency events inside the Kingdom.
Based on the CHI pilgrim policy framework and Tawuniya’s published policy documents, the core benefits include:
- Emergency medical treatment at public and contracted private hospitals across Saudi Arabia
- Hospitalisation and surgery for sudden illness or accidents during your stay
- Accidental death and permanent disability cover while inside the Kingdom
- Repatriation of mortal remains to your home country if the worst happens
- Flight disruption compensation for delays or cancellation of your departure flight from Saudi Arabia, subject to policy limits
