Prices of medications in general in Saudi Arabia are controlled. However the prices of generic medications are comparable to US prices. They are therefore more expensive compared to India, Sri Lanka or Pakistan. So if you are from the latter countries you will save money if you bring all the medications with you. Another thing to remember is that prescription medications require a script from a Saudi Physician.
Please remember to have your medications properly labelled, and carry along with them a written prescription from your physician back home.
